Point of Purchase Design for Convenience Stores- Part I

Posted by Jim Hollen on Apr 12, 2016 2:30:00 PM

We had an opportunity to leverage our point of purchase design experience to improve the merchandising effectiveness in a growing chain of convenience stores in the Northeast. The primary advantage that this chain had over its competition was store size. Its stores average 4500 square feet compared to less than half of that for its competitors. Retail POP Displays: Leveraging the Design Process to Find Your Brand’s Voice

Posted by Jim Hollen on Mar 29, 2016 2:30:00 PM

Effective retail POP displays embody the voice of the brand they represent. It’s not always easy to accurately portray the essence of a brand through a display. Things like budget, time constraints, space limitations, and other considerations can all be limiting factors in capturing a brand’s voice.
In our experience, one of the best ways to ensure that we as POP designers are hitting the mark in capturing a brand’s voice is by creating multiple design concepts and then iterating on those concepts to achieve a final concept that meets our customer’s objectives. During this process, we combine design elements, eliminate features, add to concepts, and re-imagine the POP display to arrive at a final product.
In today’s blog, we’ll look at 3 countertop design concepts we developed for H2Out, the industry leader in renewable dehumidifiers. We will also share a floor display that we created to complement the counter displays.
