Retail table displays have been around forever. Tables offer retailers tremendous flexibility and work for a wide range of products. But without some design elements, tables can be uninspiring for customers and can all too easily remind us of shopping at a swap meet. So let’s take a look at some examples of how to make tables more attractive and more effective as merchandising displays.
The first example we will share is a 4-tiered retail table we designed for Maidenform to hold women’s undergarments. The retail nesting tables were constructed using MDF with a high gloss finish to give it a high-end look. We installed acrylic shelf lips to prevent the product from falling off the shelves. The pyramid structure and curved legs made this table more appealing to women shoppers and help to make it stand out from other ordinary tables at retail.
We also created a set of nesting tables to complement the tiered table. The nesting tables were designed in a similar style and also featured a clean white high gloss finish. Nesting is used in our Ariat custom retail display tables as well.
The picture below shows how the tables were merchandised in the front of one of Maidenform’s stores.
Switching gears from the world of women’s lingerie to the rugged world of cowboys and western apparel, the table below shows one of the designs we created for Miller International. This large, heavy-duty table features 3 main levels and a table top riser with a very visible hanging sign. The table is constructed of distressed solid wood with metal legs on castors.
Tween Brands asked RICH LTD. to make a 3-tiered table that could be merchandised on 4-sides. The table we manufactured below was constructed of MDF with white laminate and was finished with orange edge trim.
We also created the companion table shown below which was designed as a 2-tier, 2-sided unit with a top shelf riser, a decorative arch, and storage cubbies below the lower table.
If you have been reading our blogs you will know that we love bamboo for its eco-friendly, aesthetic, and strength properties. We designed the set of 3 nesting tables below for Eagle Creek. These tables were designed with a simple metal tube structure and a carbonized bamboo table top with an extended front modesty lip which was silk screened with the Eagle Creek logo.
Finally, we manufactured the nesting tables shown below for Toys R Us. The tall center table was constructed of MDF with a maple laminate finish. The 2 shorter companion tables were constructed of solid wood with a black painted finish and included an inset sheet metal grid.
Retail display tables offer high utility and can be customized in many different ways to help build brands and drive product sales.
